Product Description

The Sendai Drum Stool draws inspiration from traditional Japanese shou sugi ban, a wood-burning technique from the 18th century used to weatherproof exterior wood. This distinctive stool is cast from an actual burnt wood piece, offering the rich texture of charred wood without the mess of ash. Finished in matte black, it replicates the look and feel of real burnt wood. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, the finish will develop a bronze-like patina over time when used outdoors.
